The six scientific Pillars of bayklif2

Within the framework of the bayklif 2 research network, a total of six research groups are being funded, each assigned to one of the four central research priorities: health, water, food, and biodiversity. Each of these research groups is composed of three to four interdisciplinary research teams. These teams combine diverse scientific disciplines to address complex issues of climate change from various perspectives and to develop innovative solutions.

A fundamental component of bayklif 2 is the targeted networking of all funded projects. This is ensured through regular internal meetings, workshops, and topic-specific exchange formats. The objective is to strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation, leverage synergies between projects, and further develop joint research approaches.
